Booking choice: The Sky Lagoon ticket, from $116 per person. Check dates Tour details
The packages sit on Sky Lagoon's Sky Lagoon for Two page and follow one formula: two passes with the Skjól ritual, one drink each and a platter. Prices are per person, so the headline figure is half of what you pay.
We set each package against the same visit bought item by item, using the official 2026 menu prices in US dollars. The packages save a little, not a lot, and only if you would have ordered the food anyway.
The quick answer
Saman Date Night costs $346.40 for two ($173.20 each) and saves about $17 against two Saman passes, a Sky Platter and two draught beers bought separately. Taste of the Season saves about $27 on Saman and $34 on Sér, but it ends on 5 November. Morning Moment is the cheapest package at $310 for two. If you would not order a platter anyway, plain tickets are cheaper.
What is in the Sky Lagoon Date Night package?
Two passes with the ritual, one drink each from Smakk Bar (house wine, draught beer or a non-alcoholic drink) and the Sky Platter. From $173.20 per person on Saman, $195.73 on Sér, daily from 12:00.
The Sky Platter is the big one on the Smakk Bar menu: Auður and Feykir cheeses with bilberry jam, a reindeer, pork and goose pâté, gravlax with mustard and dill sauce, bread, and a slice of Hjónabandssæla rhubarb pie. It costs $69.23 on its own. Smakk Bar opens at 12:00 and asks for full clothing, which is why Date Night starts at noon. You eat before you change or after you shower.
Saman or Sér? The only difference is the changing room. On Saman you each use the shared rooms; on Sér you get a private changing room and shower. Guests report that couples can share one: "We used the sky pass and were able to use the private changing rooms as a couple." Details are in our Saman vs Sér guide.
Do the Sky Lagoon packages save money compared with buying separately?
Yes, a little: about $17 to $34 for two, depending on the package. With soft drinks instead of beer or wine, the Date Night saving disappears.
For the separate price we added two passes at Sky Lagoon's own from-price ($129.88 Saman, $155.87 Sér), the same platter from the menu, and two draught Gull beers at $17.24 each. Glasses of wine start at $18.11, so wine drinkers save a few dollars more. For Morning Moment the $60.56 breakfast platter already includes one juice or coffee, so we added two coffees at $5.98 and a juice at $5.11.
Now swap the beers for two sparkling waters at $5.11. Saman Date Night bought separately then comes to $339.21, and the package costs $7.19 more. The packages pay off for people who would have ordered a proper drink and the platter anyway. Both sides of the table use from-prices for the cheapest days, so check the price for your actual date.
| Package for two | Package price | Bought separately | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saman Date Night | $346.40 | $363.47 | $17.07 |
| Sér Date Night | $391.46 | $415.45 | $23.99 |
| Saman Taste of the Season | $341.20 | $367.89 | $26.69 |
| Sér Taste of the Season | $386.26 | $419.87 | $33.61 |

Check dates for the Sky Lagoon ticketWhat is the Taste of the Season package, and when does it end?
The autumn and winter version of Date Night, with the seasonal platter instead of the Sky Platter. It runs from 28 September to 5 November 2026, from $170.60 per person on Saman and $193.13 on Sér.
The seasonal platter is the most expensive one on the menu at $73.65: cured beef with horseradish sauce and blueberry jam on a kleina (the Icelandic twisted doughnut), Auður and Feykir cheeses, Circolo chocolates and vanilla skyr with blueberries and cinnamon crumble. The package still costs less than Date Night, which makes it the best deal of the three while it lasts.
If you are visiting before 5 November, take it over Date Night. After that date only Date Night and Morning Moment are left on the page.

Is the Morning Moment package worth it?
Yes, if you want breakfast: it is the cheapest package and saves about $27 for two on Saman. In winter the lagoon opens at 10:00, so the morning window is 10:00 to 12:00.
Morning Moment gives each of you a glass of juice and a coffee, plus the Breakfast Platter from Keimur Café: skyr with blueberries and granola, kleinur from Sandholt bakery, and sourdough bread with cheese and crowberry jam. The Saman version costs $310 for two, the Sér version $357.22.
The page says the package runs from 9:00 to 12:00, but from 21 October to 30 April the lagoon only opens at 10:00 (see the winter hours). In December the sun comes up around 11:20, so a 10:00 slot means breakfast plus a sunrise from the water. It is also the calm part of the day: guests report that crowds build after midday. For a quiet morning date, this is the one we would book.

Is it cheaper to book two tickets on Viator and order the platter at the lagoon?
On the day we checked, yes: two Viator tickets at $116, a Sky Platter and two beers came to $335.71, about $11 less than Saman Date Night. Viator's price moves with date and slot.
The Viator ticket is sold by Sky Lagoon itself, with the ritual and a choice of Saman or Sér, and it cancels for free up to 24 hours before. Its $116 from-price on 21 October 2026 sat below the official site's $129.88. You then walk into Smakk Bar after your soak and order what you like, paying with the wristband. Last orders are 30 minutes before closing.
What the package gives you is one booking with the food already sorted. What you give up is choice: maybe the vegan platter at $59.70, maybe two cocktails at the in-water bar instead. Mind the limit of three alcoholic drinks per adult in the lagoon. If you want a driver from your hotel door, the ticket with a private car is the comfortable version, and the official shuttle at ISK 2,499 return is the cheap one.

Two tickets, then order your own platter: on the day we checked, cheaper than Date Night.
Explore the Sky Lagoon ticket Tour detailsAre the multi-pass and gift tickets good for couples?
The multi-pass, no: it is for one visitor only. Gift tickets, yes: Saman or Sér, valid four years.
The Hefð and Venja multi-passes give six visits at half price, but Sky Lagoon states that each one "is valid for four years and for one visitor only. It cannot be used for groups of guests." A couple needs two of them and has to come six times each. That suits people who live in Iceland or come back every year, not a one-week trip.
Gift tickets are the better present: the person receiving one picks the date, and it stays valid for four years. They cover the pass, not the food, so if you want to give the full date, a package booked for a set day is the way.
| Option | Price | Per visit | Who can use it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Venja multi-pass (6x Saman) | $389.63 | $64.94 | One person, 4 years |
| Hefð multi-pass (6x Sér) | $467.61 | $77.94 | One person, 4 years |
| Gift ticket, Saman or Sér | Pass price | 1 visit | Anyone you give it to, 4 years |
