Sky Lagoon · Kópavogur
Your timed entry to Sky Lagoon in Kópavogur, sold by the spa itself, with one full journey through the 7-step Skjól ritual and unlimited time in the ocean-edge lagoon. Pick it if you can get there on your own: it's the plain ticket, nothing bundled, and the one every other option here is built on.

This is Sky Lagoon's own ticket, resold on Viator with free cancellation up to 24 hours before. You pick a date, a 30-minute entry slot and a pass. Saman uses the shared changing rooms with shower cubicles; Sér adds a private changing room and shower, Sky Body Lotion and a waterproof bag. Everything else is the same: the lagoon at 38 to 40 °C, the 75-metre infinity edge and one full round of the 7-step Skjól ritual. If you see "Pure" or "Sky" pass elsewhere, those are the old names for Saman and Sér, and the "Pure Lite" still in this listing's web address was a lagoon-only pass that no longer exists.
Price is the surprise. On the day we checked, Viator started at $116, below the $129.88 the official site shows as its own from-price. In Icelandic krónur Sky Lagoon charges ISK 14,990 for Saman on a winter weekday and ISK 16,990 at the weekend; Sér is ISK 3,000 more. Both channels move with the date and the pass, so compare on your day. On Viator you also get easy time changes, which one guest called the main reason she booked there.
Two caveats. Nobody under 12 gets in, with no exceptions, and 12 to 14-year-olds need an adult with them the whole time. And no transport is included. The lagoon sits at the tip of Kársnes, about 13 minutes from central Reykjavík by car; the official shuttle from BSÍ costs ISK 2,499 return, or you take the ticket with the bus as one booking. Read how to get to Sky Lagoon before you pick a slot.
Show the voucher on your phone at Vesturvör 44-48 in Kópavogur. You get a wristband that opens your locker and pays at the bars. Arrive within 30 minutes of your slot.
Saman guests use the shared changing rooms with shower cubicles; Sér guests get a private room. Showering without a swimsuit first is the Icelandic pool rule.
Warm water, the infinity edge, a cave waterfall and the in-water Gelmir Bar (three drinks per adult at most).
Cold plunge at about 5 °C, the 80 to 90 °C sauna with the ocean window, cold mist, body scrub, steam room, then a shot of crowberry elixir. Guests report anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes.
Most people stay about two hours in total. The lagoon empties 30 minutes before closing, and the ritual closes an hour before.
★★★★★Awesome experience! The lagoon is very warm and relaxing and the rituals are the icing on the cake. Everything is very clean and well organized. I would recommend the private changing room [...]
★★★★★The infinity pool lagoon perched over the ocean was gorgeous and we spent a lot of time in the warm water. The seven step ritual was lovely, especially the sauna with ocean view, salt scrub, steam room and yummy elixir.
★★★★★I went early solo and had an amazingly relaxing spa-esque experience. Take your time, be in the moment and basque in every step of the ritual.
★★★★★Do the 7 step ritual. We were travelling with teenagers and young adults and they all said this was their favorite activity experience photo op etc by far.

Yes. Both passes on this listing, Saman and Sér, include one journey through the 7-step Skjól ritual. There is no lagoon-only pass any more, even though the listing's address still says "Pure Lite".
It depends on the day. When we checked, Viator started at $116 and the official site at $129.88 for Saman; on skylagoon.com a weekday costs ISK 14,990 and a weekend ISK 16,990. Compare both for your date. The tickets and prices guide has the full list.
There's no time limit after you enter. Sky Lagoon recommends 1.5 to 2 hours, and that's what most guests spend: about 20 to 40 minutes for the ritual and the rest in the water.
Only from 12 (the year they turn 12 counts). Guests aged 12 to 14 must stay with an adult aged 18 or over the whole visit, and staff may ask for ID. Youth tickets cost half price on the official site.
