Nicetravel ehf · Reykjavík
A minibus of 19 at most takes you to Þingvellir, Geysir, Gullfoss and the red Kerið crater, then drops you at Sky Lagoon for about two hours before the ride back to Reykjavík. Pick it if you have one free day and want Iceland's classic loop and a soak without driving yourself.

Nicetravel is a Reykjavík operator with small minibuses (Wi-Fi and a USB charger at every seat), and this is its best-reviewed day out. The route is the standard Golden Circle: Þingvellir National Park, where the rift between two tectonic plates runs through the valley; the geothermal field at Geysir, where Strokkur erupts every few minutes; and the two-step Gullfoss waterfall. Then comes Kerið, a red volcanic crater with a lake, with the entry fee paid.
The last stop is the reason for this page. You arrive at Sky Lagoon in the late afternoon, and guests report around two hours there before the minibus takes you back; drop-off is around 20:00 at your pickup point. In winter that means a soak in the dark, which one reviewer called the best part. Several guests also paid on the spot to upgrade to the Sér pass and its private changing rooms.
Lunch is not included. The group stops at Geysir, where you buy food at the centre; one guest got a runny fish and chips, another found a wide choice at fair prices. Bring a swimsuit (a towel is provided). The day is long and the bus small: a tall guest warned about limited legroom.
From your hotel, or the nearest bus stop where coaches can't enter the centre. Look for the NICE travel logo. You can also meet at the office, Fiskislóð 45M.
Walk the rift valley between the North American and Eurasian plates, a UNESCO site.
Watch Strokkur erupt, then buy lunch at the Geysir centre.
The double waterfall in its gorge, then the red crater with its green lake.
Your ticket is waiting. Soak, do the ritual, then back on the bus, with drop-off around 20:00.
★★★★★Perfect tour to see the main sites of the Golden Circle finished off with a wonderful stay at the Sky Lagoon to end a perfect day. [...] Perfect timing at each of the stops too!
★★★★★It was a small group and everyone cooperated, so we were able to make two additional stops. We were able to stop to see Icelandic horses and an additional waterfall. We were ready for our two hour stay at the Sky Lagoon at days end.
★★★★★Incredible scenery through out finished with a gorgeous night time (so glad we went in the dark), atmospheric soak in the sky lagoon. A perfect day!
★★★★★I loved concluding the day at Sky Lagoon (in my opinion much better than Blue Lagoon) and I still had time for lovely dinner.
