BusTravel Iceland · Reykjavík
A small group leaves Reykjavík at 8:00 for Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, the Sólheimajökull glacier and the black sand at Reynisfjara, and can end the evening at Sky Lagoon. Pick it for the waterfalls, and only if you choose the option with the lagoon: it is an add-on, not part of every booking.

This is a long one. BusTravel Iceland's South Coast day leaves at 8:00 and covers Seljalandsfoss, the waterfall you can walk behind, Skógafoss, the tongue of the Sólheimajökull glacier and the basalt columns of Reynisfjara, with Vík on the way (many guides stop there for lunch). Guests report getting back to Reykjavík around 19:30 without the lagoon. The listing says 13 hours.
Now the part the title glosses over. The inclusions list only the vehicle, Wi-Fi and fees: Sky Lagoon is an option you select at booking, and reviews say only some passengers take it. Those who do are dropped at the lagoon in the evening and collected later by a taxi or another vehicle the operator arranges. A guest was the only one going. Twice, guests report, the taxi never came and they paid for their own ride. You also fix the pickup time before you go in.
Go in with open eyes and it's a good day. The guides get some of the warmest reviews on this site, and a soak after hours of walking in wind is welcome. In the short days of October to February, though, the last waterfall can come after dark: one guest reached Seljalandsfoss at 19:00 in pitch black. If you want the lagoon with no logistics, do it on a separate day with the ticket and bus.
From bus stop 12, Höfðatorg, outside the Storm Hotel, or from your hotel pickup.
Walk behind the first waterfall (wet and slippery) and climb beside the second.
A walk to the glacier tongue, then lunch in Vík, which you pay for yourself.
Black sand, basalt columns and big waves. Stay back from the water.
With the option, you're dropped at the lagoon and taken back later by taxi or a second pickup. Without it, back to Reykjavík around 19:30.
★★★★★We then had Sky Lagoon at the end, got dropped off and enjoyed a couple of hours before being picked up by a taxi. On our drive back from the Lagoon we saw the auroras, which was a bonus!!
★★★★★I would highly recommend adding the Sky Lagoon to the end of the excursion as it was great for unwinding after a long day of walking and climbing.
★★★★★This was a great way to see all the southern tourist spots, but the day is long so its a great to end it at the lagoon to relax. We also had a great guide who was very knowledgeable.
★★★★★The southern part of Iceland was exquisite. The day is long, but each stop brought new experiences and ending at the Sky Lagoon was perfect.
